The American Chamber of Commerce in Cameroon (AmCham), in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Cameroon, is organizing a dinner event focused on opportunities in the oil and gas sector in Cameroon. The dinner will take place on the June 7, 2013, in Douala, Cameroon at the Akwa Palace Hotel.

The Cameroonian National Hydrocarbons Corporation (SNH) will present at the event themed: The Oil & Gas Sector in Cameroon: Opportunities and Challenges. The presentation will primarily highlight opportunities and provide insight on oil and gas permit acquisition, exploration and production activities for majors/minors as well as service companies.

The Dinner will provide ample networking opportunities, as it will bring together the American Chamber of Commerce members, the SNH (National Hydrocarbons Corporation), Ministry of Mines, foreign and local oil and gas companies, service companies as well as foreign investors interested in the oil and gas Sector in Cameroon. This is an ideal opportunity for U.S. oil and gas companies interested in exploring opportunities in Cameroon.

The U.S. Embassy and AmCham will assist interested U.S. companies in arranging follow-up meetings with the SNH and other participants for the days after the Dinner event.
