"As a result of the global financial crisis, the volume of trade finance in emerging markets, particularly in Africa, has been reduced. Standard Chartered Bank has a strong presence on the continent and we intend to work with this bank to support commercial activities in Africa", AFC General Manager Andrew Alli said.
